The Research Units PeptLab@Unifi is located in the Department of Chemistry "Ugo Schiff" and in the Department NEUROFARBA (Department of Neurosciences, Psychology, Drug Research and Child Health) of the University of Florence in Sesto Fiorentino.

PeptLab@Unifi is a multidisciplinary Research Units with a strong know-how in the field of peptide and protein, particularly in their synthesis and molecular characterization, both at the biological and structural level. In fact this Research Units integrates competences and accessible facilities with hightech instrumentation dedicated to synthetic and analytical chemistry, immunology/biology and clinics aimed to Research & Development of innovative diagnostics of "difficult diseases".

With the term "difficult diseases" we refer to those diseases (rare but not only) for which up to now clinicians have no or few tools to characterize them.

Arriving by car

Going in the direction of the Highway A11 (Firenze/Mare) and the Airport of Florence, follow the pointers to "Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico", go on through via dell' Osmannoro and turn on the right at the Pointer "Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico", access from Viale delle Idee.
